Further building on its recent run of awards successes, Reconomy has been shortlisted for Specialist Contractor of the Year at the 2017 Building Awards.
This is first time the company has been named as a finalist for this prestigious industry event, which celebrates the best of all aspects of UK construction. The Building Awards is the construction industry’s longest-running awards event, attracting many of its biggest names.
Within recent weeks, Reconomy was also named as a finalist at the forthcoming 2017 Housebuilding Awards and was crowned Company of the Year at the 2017 Shropshire Business Awards.
Reconomy is the UK’s leading provider of outsourced waste management and recycling services. The company is responsible for managing over 3m tonnes of waste per year, diverting an impressive 93% away from landfill.
Other companies shortlisted for Specialist Contractor of the Year include: M. Lambe Construction, NG Bailey, O’Donovan Waste Disposal and TrustMgt.

The winners will be announced on Tuesday 7th November 2017.
