Reconomy’s Chief Exec named amongst most ambitious business leaders

Paul Cox, the Chief Executive of leading outsourced waste management and recycling specialists, Reconomy, has been named amongst LDC’s Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2018.LDC, in partnership with the Telegraph, have scoured the length and breadth of the UK to uncover and celebrate 50 of the UK’s most inspirational business leaders ““ inspiring individuals that are responsible for running the UK’s most successful medium-sized businesses. In October the judges will reconvene to decide the UK’s Most Ambitious Business Leader, the one individual who best embodies the spirit of entrepreneurial vision and endeavour.Paul Cox joined Reconomy in 1999 as Operations Director, bringing with him a strong and hands-on approach to the day-to-day management of numerous business operations. Following the sale of the business to a private equity firm in 2006, Paul was elevated to Chief Executive and has masterminded the growth of the business, which now boasts a turnover in excess of £120m.Commenting on the announcement, Paul said: “I am honoured to have been named alongside such an incredible group of businesspeople.
