Waste Regulations Scotland 2012

The Waste Scotland Regulations were passed on the 9th May 2012. These regulations make a number of provisions that will make large changes to how waste is handled in Scotland.
The changes are a considerable difference to the way waste is handled and as such the regulations need to be fully understood to ensure that businesses can make the most of the opportunities presented to them.
Whilst the regulations make a number of amendments to existing practices, many of which come into force in the coming years, this guide details the changes likely to impact businesses from January 1st 2014.
