Reconomy Group colleagues claim two spaces on 35 under 35 awards list

Reconomy and the wider Reconomy Group are both represented in this year’s 35 under 35 waste industry awards listing, following its publication today.

Lyndsey Denning, Group Director of HR at Reconomy, and Ben Richardson, Director of Procurement, at Reconomy Group company, Valpak, have both been recognised as status holders on the 35 under 35 list for 2021. The top three status holders from this year’s list will be announced in July.

35 under 35 is an exciting awards programme that identifies young achievers, upcoming influencers and rising stars from the waste and recycling industry who are striving for professional excellence, promoting industry innovation, and giving back to their company or community.

Lyndsey Denning is Reconomy’s youngest company Director. As Director of Group HR, Lyndsey has transformed Reconomy’s HR function by improving efficiencies and creating a positive, family-orientated working culture. Lyndsey has helped countless Reconomy employees to realise their career ambitions, raising Reconomy’s profile as an employer and helping to attract the best talent from inside and outside the waste industry.

Occupying the role of Director of Procurement, Ben Richardson sits on Valpak’s executive board and leads the Procurement and Projects teams, which are responsible for developing forward thinking partnerships and innovative new ways of working. Ben also leads Valpak’s internal engagement team on Purpose, Mission, Vision and Values. In the coming months, he will also be setting Valpak staff ambitious targets, based on the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
