Reconomy continues to champion internal promotions

A long-term employee of leading outsourced waste management service provider, Reconomy, has become the latest team member to be promoted into a more senior position, as the company continues its strategy of promoting from within.

Daniel Oliver, who has been with Reconomy for four and a half years, has recently been promoted to Key Account Manager. This new role will see Daniel managing relationships for large customer accounts at Reconomy, maintaining strong communication and service levels throughout.
Since joining Reconomy in 2015, Daniel has gained experience across several departments within the business. Daniel’s journey began in Reconomy’s accounts team as a Credit Controller. Having studied Business and Finance at College, Daniel quickly impressed and was then offered a Contracts Manager role. Having spent two years within this role, Daniel has now progressed further into a Key Account Management position.

Speaking about his promotion, Daniel said: “The sense of achievement to now move into Account Management is one that gives me a great pleasure. It feels like a very natural progression within the company and one that I can’t wait to get started with.
“I think my previous experience within other areas of the business will allow me to continue progressing and become a successful Key Account Manager. I hope that my journey of progression within the company, over what some may consider a relatively short amount of time, will give others confidence and belief that Reconomy is a business that actively develops and promotes from within.”

After accepting the Key Account Manager role, Daniel thanked Director of Managed Accounts, Jamie Roberts, and National Contracts Manager, Vicky Robertson, for their continued support.
