Forum Brings Together Nationwide Supply Partners
Reconomy’s 2017 Supplier Forum brought together over 100 representatives from its many supply chain partners, which are based all over the UK.
The event, which was held at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, provided an opportunity for Reconomy’s supply chain partners to discuss the latest waste industry topics and better understand the key technological drivers and enhancements demanded by Reconomy’s many clients. It also provided Reconomy with a unique platform to demonstrate its latest innovations and advancements, including the use of Smartphone Apps which will be launched throughout 2017.
Guest speaker at the event was Dan Bowden from FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) who spoke about the many benefits of FORS accreditation and its importance to Reconomy’s supplier selection process.
The event was very well received by all attendees and plans are now underway to make the forum an annual event.

The waste industry is evolving at a phenomenal pace, so it’s very important that we regularly meet with our supply chain partners and discuss the many issues that are shaping the industry.”
