Reconomy has reaffirmed its commitment to environmental management following the company’s latest ISO 14001 audit, once again achieving the accreditation with no non-conformances.ISO 14001 is the internationally-recognised standard for the environmental management of businesses, prescribing controls for numerous activities that can impact the environment. Reconomy was first awarded ISO 14001 status in 2003 and was amongst the first businesses in the UK to achieve the latest version of the standard in April of this year.As the UK’s leading provider of outsourced waste management and recycling services, certification to ISO 14001 demonstrates Reconomy’s ongoing commitment to reducing its impact on the environment.
