Reconomy named among fastest growing firms in the UK Fast Growth Index 2024
Reconomy, the leading international circular economy specialist, is delighted to announce its inclusion in the UBS-sponsored UK Fast Growth Index 2024, which celebrates the fastest-growing businesses across the country.
Among the top 350 businesses nationwide, Reconomy also secured a place in the top 50 for the Midlands, a region known for its dynamic business landscape.
The UK Fast Growth Index showcases companies driving innovation, creating jobs, and boosting economic development. Collectively, the businesses on this year’s list generate over £12 billion in turnover, highlighting the critical role they play in the UK’s economy.
The inclusion reflects the significant growth Reconomy has achieved in recent years as it seeks to capture opportunities in the global circular economy. This year alone Reconomy has made excellent strategic progress.
Highlights include:
- First acquisitions completed in the US, a strategically important new growth market, in addition to completing two other transformational domestic and international acquisitions
- Significant investment into cloud technology and AI, with plans to invest over £30m in digitisation programmes creating cutting-edge solutions for its customers
- A number of senior hires and internal promotions made to bolster the leadership team across the business
