Last year the company’s turnover grew by 27% to £111million.Shropshire Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive, Richard Sheehan, said: “Reconomy is a rapidly expanding business, and we must congratulate them. As a representative of a growing sector, and an important one, we were delighted to see they had the tenacity to enter again, and the feedback we had from the judges was that they were a very worthy winner, in a very tightly-contested category.”Managing Director of Reconomy, Paul Cox, said: “We’ve always been a Shropshire business and a large percentage of our workforce live in Shropshire. So, to have been singled out as the county’s best company is a wonderful achievement but also immensely humbling. We’ve all worked incredibly hard to get to where we are and this award is a wonderful acknowledgement of our efforts. It’s a proud day for us all.”
