Reconomy Shortlisted for Housebuilding Honour
Reconomy, the UK’s leading provider of outsourced waste management services, has been named as a finalist at the 2017 Housebuilder Awards.This is the second year running that the company has been named as a finalist in the hotly contested Subcontractor of the Year category. This latest achievement closely follows Reconomy’s other recent awards successes, after being named Company of the Year at the 2017 Shropshire Business Awards and Reconomy’s Managing Director, Paul Cox, winning Transformational Leader at the 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for the midlands region.The Housebuilder Awards is the housebuilding sector’s flagship event, attracting hundreds of entries every year from many of the industry’s biggest names.In 2016 Reconomy managed the disposal of 671,906 tonnes of housebuilding waste for clients including Barratt Homes, Taylor Wimpey, Redrow Homes, Crest Nicholson and many more. By exploring all opportunities for on-site reuse and recycling Reconomy was able to successfully divert 95.14% of this waste away from landfill.Commenting on the news, Reconomy Managing Director, Paul Cox, said: “It’s been an incredible few weeks for the Reconomy team, and this latest shortlisting is another wonderful acknowledgement of our efforts.
