Reconomy Shortlisted for Shropshire Honour
Reconomy, the UK’s leading provider of outsourced waste management services, has been shortlisted for Company of the Year at the 2017 Shropshire Business Awards.
Organised by the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, the Shropshire Business Awards attract hundreds of entries each year from all over the county. Reconomy now joins a very select group of businesses that have been named as a finalist for this award two years running.
Reconomy will compete for the title of Shropshire Company of the Year against temperature-controlled transportation company, Dale Brothers, logistics company, Culina, and road safety firm, TTC Group. The winners will be announced during a gala evening at Telford International Centre on Friday 23rd June.
Chief Executive of the Shropshire Chamber, Richard Sheehan, said: “It’s a really exciting time for Shropshire business, as we look to recognise those who have achieved excellence in their sectors. Many new businesses are entering awards that we have never seen submit entries before, which shows the diversity of sectors represented, and of the sizes of business and the geography of the county.
Managing Director of Reconomy, Paul Cox, said: “The Shropshire Business Awards attract businesses from all over the county which operate across numerous industries, so to be named as a finalist is a great achievement. We’ve all worked very hard over the last 12 months and this shortlisting is a wonderful acknowledgement of our efforts.”
