Reconomy to attend the national recycling awards conference on 8th December

The MRW National Recycling Awards is recognised as the most prominent awards ceremony in the recycling and resource sector, bringing together industry professionals annually to celebrate outstanding achievements and success in the field.

The National Recycling Conference, which takes place earlier in the day on 8^th December, brings together experts from across the sector to discuss the latest industry news and developments. With the event being one of the first after the recent COP26, this year’s conference will discuss all the findings from the summit.

This year, Reconomy’s Head of Sustainability, Nathan Gray, will be attending to speak on the opening panel called The Net Zero agenda. Nathan will be talking about achieving net zero in relation to resources and how our Zero Waste Index is a fundamental tool for businesses to tracking not only their journey to zero waste but also their trajectory to 1.5 degrees.  Nathan will join other industry experts on the panel and discuss how the sector can achieve net zero goals in a post COP26 world.
